Jewellery Care
Our jewellery is made in Greece to the very highest standards. As with all jewellery, taking the right precautions and caring for your item correctly will prolong its life.
Metal reacts with liquids and chemicals which can cause it to tarnish, especially gold-plated pieces. To preserve integrity and finish we recommend jewellery is removed before showering, swimming in pool or sea, and sleeping.
It is best to avoid contact with perfumes, creams and lotions and some cleaning fluids as these will cause plating to discolour. Do not spray perfume directly onto your jewellery.
Avoid wearing close to other items of jewellery to reduce surface wear and protect against scratches.
All metals naturally oxidise and in time will require a little maintenance. To clean off any residue and bring back the shine gently polish your item with a specialised jewellery cleaning cloth.
Take care not to over-polish plated items as you may remove the plating.
Store your jewellery in the pouch or box provided ideally in a moisture free room to avoid oxidisation.
We recommend having your jewellery cleaned professionally on occasion.

Repairs
We are happy to adjust your Marianna Lemos jewellery purchase if needed. There will be a fee connected to this service. All repair requests submitted after 6 months of purchase are subject to material and labour costs. If you choose to have an item resized a fee will apply. The cost to send in and return the item for repair or adjustment is not covered by Marianna Lemos Design P.C.
Bespoke
All of our styles are available to order in other gold carats and colours, sterling silver or gold vermeil. We can change stone type and colour too. Please e-mail info@mariannalemos.com with your ideas.
Bespoke items are non-returnable and non-refundable but we will always work closely with you to ensure you are totally happy with your order.
